About Us
Since 1984, prize-winning poet Barbara Helfgott Hyett, has conducted PoemWorks Workshops at her home in Brookline, Mass. PoemWorks offers a wide variety of workshops, including semester-based sessions, specialized one-day workshops, workshops of place in various scenic locations, and one yearly workshop abroad in France in conjunction with the International Inkwell.
PoemWorks also functions as a publishing network for its members who have published 100+ books, have won many of America's top poetry prizes, awards and fellowships, and have published hundreds of individual poems. The Workshop also conducts public readings which showcase its members.
