Mary Lou Maloney
Mary Lou Maloney has been part of the Workshop for Publishing Poets for many years. For most of that time she was also a lobbyist at the State House working for persons with disabilities. She has written about her brother who spent too much time in a place where you never hear the big dogs bark, her sister Marian who has Downs Syndrome and is moving away from her home, her beloved Ireland where part of her heart seems to rest. This year is her time to finally get her poems published so her family can know that she was truly in the Workshop.
