Shawn Ryan
Shawn Ryan is a poet of time and place, often incorporating his multicultural, travel and Marine Corps experiences into his writing. One of the special things about his writing is the interaction between one’s experience and one’s language, such as in specialized military jargon that resonates also in the civilian world. Shawn has taught history and social studies for several years, and is a serious fan of Renaissance and Modern art, and loves the work of Michelangelo.
